Gubahan Coklat Bunga Ros Daun Getah – FOR SALE

I did this for the photo shoot session for a newspaper early this month. Since I won’t be using this anymore, I am selling this for RM50. You will get the whole arrangement of bunga ros daun getah inclusive of the decorated polistrin below it..haha!

What you have to do is just buy Ferrero Rocher chocolates to fit inside of the rose buds.

This is how it will look like once you have put the chocolate inside the buds. The picture was taken the night before the photo shoot..(as you can see the messy ribbons and organza roll around the picture)

If you are interested to buy kindly leave comment or email me. Self collect or delivery around Puchong/Cyberjaya area only.

Craft Books For Sale

Often time people who came to learn decoupage told me that they are interested to learn about folk art or decorative painting. I told them that they need to find a personal teacher as it is not something you can learn in an hour or two. It takes a lot of practice in order to have the perfect stroke.

Of course not everyone has the time and resources to attend such class. I have 2 craft books that are related to folk art or decorative painting for sale. Each of them cost RM35. I have checked with MPH, and they don’t have the stock for such books, but the retail price is RM99.90.

The first book is by Priscilla Hauser – Book of Roses. I have 3 more in stock.

Inside you will learn about what kind of brushes, paints you might need to start decorative painting. There are patterns that you can photocopy and enlarge to suit the size of your painting medium.

This is some of the step by step techniques you will learn from this book. What you need is perseverance to get a perfect stroke.

Another one is by Donna Dewberry. She is a housewife, a mother of 7 children and a self-taught artist, who picked up different painting tips where she could and learned by observations. I used to follow her video online. I even bought some of the materials from ebay. Since not everyone is accessible to Internet all day long, having her book is another great way to learn her famous one stroke painting technique.

This is one of her books : Donna Dewberry’s Quick & Easy Murals. I have 4 more in stock.

There are 300 step by step pictures for you to follow.

You will learn how to paint rose, vine, leaves, hydrangea, blue bird and bird bath just to name a few.

So if you are interested to learn from those books, feel free to leave comment or email me to buy any of them. I will try to get back as soon as possible. The postage charge and handling per book via Poslaju for West Malaysia is RM8, and for Sabah and Sarawak is around RM11.

Bunga Pahar Stokin In White And Gold Theme

I’ve never made bunga pahar stokin in white and gold theme. All these years, clients usually asked me to do bunga stokin in cream and gold or brown and gold combination.

So when this particular client asked me whether I could make bunga stokin in white and gold combination, I have to dig out all the stash in my craft room and see whether any of those materials will make one fine sample that speaks out to me..haha!

I hope once the client confirms her order I can find all the needed materials in the market. Some of the materials were bought like 3-4 years ago so there’s a possibility that things have changed and the shop no longer carry such stuffs..huhu!

Decoupage On IKEA Plate

Last month was the first time I conducted decoupage class using plate as the medium. Usually I will use mug as it is smaller and easier to complete within 2 hours. But since IKEA no longer has the stock for such mugs, I decided to try using their plate.

The participants were quite happy during the previous class since they said the plate has bigger surface for them to pour their creativity. And the fact that they can use bigger motif from the paper napkin to fit on the surface of the plate means less time spent on the intricate cutting process.

The plate above was not completed fully when I snapped the picture. I helped the participant to do some shading around the motif to make it look less like a cut and paste job. I have to say decoupage is a great way for those with less ability and talent to draw and paint to actually do something nice on their own.

Bunga Pahar Dip Lily Biru

What do you love the most in wedding? Since I was young, I always love wedding. I love to see the beautiful creations people make for such event – how they decorate bilik pengantin, what kind of bunga telur they have at the pelamin, how they create the hantaran, well things like that.

I think what I love most is not so much of the face value of such stuffs but more of the deeper meaning and symbolic of it. Like how people do their best to come together into the new phase of life, with hope and determination to bring the best, it’s like you respect the other family and would give your very best to ensure that your spouse will have the nicest possible things you could afford.

If the groom or bride has big family and each one of the aunts and cousins contribute to the wedding, be it with their energy or their capability to create something nice, it proves that in time to come, they will come to your aid if you ever need them. Personally I can vouch for this. Those relatives who have contribute so much to my wedding are the same people who have been around in time of my need.

Oh, the pictures above are bunga pahar dip lily in blue (some think it’s turqoise) I made for my niece’s wedding in 2008. It has been a while since I make bunga telur for people. Now that I have a toddler, I no longer have the capability to take custom made order for bunga pahar or bunga telur, but if you want to make a similar kind of bunga telur on your own for your special day, I can teach at a fee.
