Kelas Bunga Dip Februari 2012

BungaTelur.com akan mengadakan kelas asas untuk mempelajari cara-cara membuat bunga telur dan bunga dulang mini menggunakan cecair Q-Dip. Semua bahan akan disediakan. BONUS!! Demo bunga stokin.

Cucur Udang, Kuah Kacang

I was blog hopping last night, in an attempt not to fall asleep, konon nak practise because I plan to see the gynae for check up early Friday morning. However after Subuh rasa mengantuk pulak. So while I was blog hopping and Googling here and there, I found a fotopages with recipe for cucur udang and kuah kacang…nak makan cucur udang mcm tu!!! huhuhu..

Told Hubby today about that, he asked nak beli kat mana, kat mana ada jual..kat tepi hi way Penang ada la..even that was like how many years ago, giler betul la..wouldn’t it be much easier kalau teringin nak mkn KFC ke, Kenny Rogers ke..anyway, I told him, NVM bila2 I will beli the senduk besar and make my own cucur udang. The kuah kacang shouldn’t be a problem because I’ve tried that during our open house 2 years ago.

If there is one thing I gain from this pregnancy, it’s the new skills masak benda2 baru, anak aku ni nak suruh mak dia jadi chef kampung kot..all the cravings are lauk pauk authentic kampung, yg susah nak jumpa kat kedai2 biasa. Those 2 big bottles of acar limau I made is still in the process of letting the rempah meresap into the fruits. And the terubuk masin I’ve fried a bit last night to eat with sambal udang.

Today my menu will be nasi goreng sempoi like SIL cook, goreng keropok keping and the leftover sambal udang. Oh, I will fry some pieces of chicken as well as additional lauk for the nasi goreng merah..heh!

Blame It On Mee Kuning

We had terrible stomachache on Monday..blame it on the mee kuning. I used brand Win, I think I’ve used that before and the same type of sakit perut the day after..huhu..it’s been quite a long time since my last cooking using mee kuning so I kinda forget which brand gives terrible pain.

I called SIL and she said she had the pain as well but not her husband..heh! I guess I have to make my own mee kuning after this if I were to enjoy the mee kuah or any mee type of cooking.

I seem to be getting terrible headache these days. Hubby said must be the hormone charges and all with this pregnancy. I wish I can do nothing all day but I have a lot to settle for Niece’s wedding. Perhaps after 8th August I can relax all I want..heh! Sometimes I do think that my body never really cut out for such thing like pregnancy..but then again, it’s only 5 more months to go..more or less..

I need to get back to whatever stuffs I have to get done, well at least some for today. Just see how things going on tomorrow, hopefully it’s better and less headache.

Mee Kuah, Acar Limau, Terubuk Masin

I’m not very fond of eating beef these days but I am cooking mee kuah tonight. Well, not really cooking because I am still waiting for the ribs to be tender..huhu..now I think I really need to buy a pressure cooker.

(after almost 2 hours)

I am done with cooking the kuah, in fact since the ribs are bountiful, I have to cook the kuah in two separate periuk..otherwise one pot will be full of ribs and less kuah for the noodle..heh! Note to myself, buy a bigger periuk cap buaya..something bigger than the current 22cm and 24cm! I even did some food tasting, mesti la kan, esok nak bagi org mkn, tukang masak kena rasa dulu. My SIL is coming with her husband, my niece and her fiance, so since last time I didn’t cook anything (just ordered Pizza Hut) malu la plak kan..”rajin” sgt maksu asyik2 order pizza..haha!

Hubby said I shouldn’t feel that way because I am the pregnant one, in fact SIL should bring me food..ada ke pikir camtu..But I did mention to her teringin nak mkn pajeri nenas, bukan bleh kira SIL tu, tgk2 dia masak esok..I feel bad menyusahkan org though I know she really doesn’t mind. Usually if you like cooking you will feel flattered and satisfied if people like your food, especially your loved ones.

Well, I did mention in the title above about acar limau and terubuk masin. The seller online said she will go to Pekan Rabu to look for acar limau..kes ibu mengandung yang mengidam la ni..the terubuk masin I ordered from a seller in Kuching. So once I get the full set boleh la makan dgn nasik panas2 plus kicap..heh! Thanks to online shopping now everything is available.

So I guess since I am full of mee kuah and tired of all the cooking, I better hit the pillow. I hope Hubby will manage to celur the noodle, sayur etc for his lunch while waiting for me to wake up tomorrow…hehe!

On Leave From Cooking

I have been having 2 days off from cooking and as the result, I have been suffering from starvation and makan tak puas syndrome..huhu!

I was about to go to sleep just now when I browse through the cooking topic in one of the forums I usually read everyday. Normally I will only read about crafts and sewing and see whether any new items like perfume and tudung interesting enough to be bought, heh!

I think my motivation to cook has just been renewed. I think starting from tomorrow I will start making list of dishes that I will cook in November. In my mind, I’m drooling about sambal petai with udang, kari ikan, sambal telur (boiled then fried)..I think it’s time we pay a visit to the Pasar Borong Selangor looking for fresh ingredients. And it would be yummy to have ulam with sambal tempoyak and ikan masin goreng as well. I feel like cooking all these kampung recipes because I am sick of the usual menu that I always cook..heh!

This is what happen when you think about food with empty stomach..huhu!

An Array of Salad


I wish I could have this choice every day, to be able to have buffet lunch and dinner whereby I can choose all kind of salad to put in my plate.

But then if every day you were given the same array of food you might want to have something else, right? hehe..

Check out those purplish raw beet. It is full of betacyanin which is also a powerful cancer-fighting agent. It was the first time I had sliced raw beet in salad and I love them so much. But Hubby thought they tasted weird..huhu!
