What Would I Be Without You…

This is my effort to write 3 things that make me happy (after reading a motivational tips on dwimaya blog last Friday)

Ok, let’s start with No.1:

My aunt and uncle was coming over on Sunday afternoon. So Hubby who woke up almost the same time as me and the little one, quickly grabbed his cup of coffee and started to clean up the house up and down. He came home the night before at 1:30am after the monthly release, bringing a pack of nasi goreng kampung for his starving wife. (That pack of rice is No.2 that makes me happy..I am always thankful for food that Hubby brings home)

No.3 : I came down to the kitchen after the little one finally fell asleep at 2:50am. Hubby offered to make me something to eat eventhough he has to wake at 8 am for work. We decided to eat the salami with the french loaf. Hubby cut and clean everything.

What would I do without you, Hubby? Who would pick up the trash and throw them out? Who will chase away the stray cats that came and pee in the laundry area? Who will wipe clean the floor when the little one accidentally peed? Who will open the ever tight bottles and jars for me?

I never realized the value of a husband until I quit my job and stay at home. Now that I have a child, I value my husband even more. For all my dosa-dosa from the last Raya till tonight, I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me :) hehe!

How I Wish

Wouldn’t it be lovely to go on an
all inclusive vacation once a while? To relax and unwind, not having to worry about giving tip or taking your wallet anywhere. Enjoying an endless array of land and water sport (well, that’s not for me anyway) but having facial, massage, pedicure and manicure on the Caribbean vacation, oh, how I wish for that..

How wonderful would it be for me to try the Stone Therapy Massage. Said to be the perfect way to achieve total relaxation. The energetic rocks warmed in aromatic oils are used to melt away tension, resulting in a totally relaxed warming experience.

After that I would go for the Caribbean Hue “Blue Mahoe Signature Facial” – a detoxifying facial which is believed to be the perfect post-stressed treatment.

Sadly the all inclusive vacation package like this does not permit children. So I have to let go of my wish for now and wait till my son goes to college (which will take about 17 years to come..huhu!), unless Hubby is willing to stay home and look after our son while I go on Carribean vacation..heh!

Earn Money Through Planet Pulse

Attention people! Why waste opportunity to earn money while you are online..rather than waste time on Facebook and not making any money out of it, why don’t you go and check out Planet Pulse!

I just cash out another USD27 from them (actually I totally forgot about the money I have in Planet Pulse until I got another survey invitation from them today)

Usually a survey will get you 300 pulses which translate to USD3, sometimes a short survey will give you 150 pulses. But since they pay in USD and with our current exchange rate of 3.31 (as of today) that could give you an amount of about RM10 (can pay for one lunch at normal stall, rite?) And those surveys are not time consuming and not brain draining either, you can do them while doing your office work..hehe!

So click the banner below or the one on the right side of my blog to join. If you wonder how to cash out the money from your PayPal, now you can withdraw those moolah to your local bank account easily. I just withdraw some amount of USD from my Paypal to my Maybank account just to check how smooth the transaction will be.

I will write about that later. So quick, let’s get our pulses and turn them into Ringgit Malaysia..heh!

Get paid for your opinions! Click on the banner above to join Planet Pulse. Its totally free to sign up, and you can earn UNLIMITED. Find out more by visiting PLANET PULSE.

Should I?

I always have many things to do every day (at least in my mind..huhu!) I tried to maximize the amount of tasks that could be completed so that by the time I go to sleep, I feel satisfied with myself.

Like today, I did the laundry – 3 round of them (which has not been done since the start of CNY hols), folded and hang the clothes as soon as I took them out from the dryer. Boy! I am so proud of myself, (bukan senang tau nak bertungkus lumus buat kerja rumah dgn ada sorang budak kenit yang menyibuk ke sana ke mari..hehe), I even ironed a shirt for Hubby to wear for his agency meeting/preview this week.

Oh, Sarah.. if you are reading this entry, I found the salami and beef breakfast in Cold Storage Ikano. Not really cheap as the price is 2.99 and 3.99 per 100gm. But I tell you, it’s worth it. Feel like having buffet breakfast in 5-star hotel. And because of that we have been having sandwich for supper 2 nights in a row, even bought Jalapenos to accompany the home made sandwich…ala ala Subway!

Well, coming back to the title above, I have been reading Universiti Terbuka PTS entries for 2 days now. Really feel like I should try my hand in submitting manuscript for them, but what do I write? Fiction? Children book? Craft related book?

Maybe a parenting book would be a good idea, What To Expect In The First Year in Bahasa Melayu..haha!

Ideas For Birthday

I was watching Chef At Home tonight while waiting for the next round of cartoon that my son likes to watch when Chef Michael showed how he made a simple chocolate cake into a dump truck theme birthday cake for his 5-year-old son..cool idea which I hope I could emulate in few years time..heh!

Anyway, for those who are looking for great birthday ideas, perhaps a read through at the website will spark new ideas in your mind. A gift basket sounds like a normal stuff but if it comes with a gift card that says something like “never have to lift a finger today, Mom!”, that would be very touching and sweet.

Imagine having a day off as a mom, that would be something I would treasure so much.

Or if you are really out of ideas on what to do during your kids coming birthday party, a theme like spaceship or safari would be a joy for those curious and imaginative mind. If you have a bunch of creative children coming over for the birthday bash, you should consider throwing something like crayon or face painting party.

For the special man in your life, you can opt for something romantic like a couple massage. If you are the fun type who wouldn’t mind the extra effort, call a catering service (who would want to slave in the kitchen while others are enjoying themselves with the food and drinks?), invite friends to hang out and socialize, be it over a board game or dancing.

Who says being a year older means less fun?
