There have been so much going on these past few days..some very upset thing on the day of my son’s birthday..I just don’t want to talk about that because it really pissed me off..huhu! Hubby is working towards getting the Tribunal Pengguna to answer our query whether we can make a case out of the ketidakpuasan hati..

Other than that, we managed to celebrate our son’s birthday just fine..We bought birthday candles and party hat and sang birthday song for our son at Cupcake Chic. SIL gave him a big police motorcycle as a gift but he is treating the bike like walker..haha! We went out almost every day since last weekend (remember that Hubby is on leave for a week this week..heh!)

I was tired with all the stuffs we have to do this whole week. Yesterday and today I reactivated my Public Bank account, applied for PBE online banking so that next time I can just renew my unit trust Agent license by making payment online (if I still don’t have any commission coming in into the account..huhu), went to Public Mutual branch, submitted the bank in slip for agency renewal and appealed for the reinstatement of my commission (which could take 1 month to process).

Today (as in Wednesday) was a better day out for 3 of us. We went to the Curve, had late lunch at Subway, walked around to find bed runner for bilik pengantin, found a cheap Thai-style runner at the bazaar and even managed to buy a nice black, ceramic plate for the candles. Basically the bilik pengantin scouting is almost complete. This Friday we will go and collect the floral arrangements for the wedding which we ordered on Tuesday. I will snap some pictures to share later because I really like the floral arrangement that we (SIL and I) chose..heh!

Thursday I am not planning to go out anywhere except to buy lunch and to Jusco to buy groceries. I am hoping to complete the kit for bunga dip class this Saturday. After all Thursday is my Astro night (8-11pm marathon)..hehe! It’s my only chance to sit back and relax this week since on Friday we have to go out and collect the floral arrangements and at night, have to pack up things for Saturday’s class.

Hopefully the Saturday’s class will finish early since Hubby has to rush for his release task by 6pm. Sunday we will be staying at home since Hubby has to stand by. So, there goes the entire week of Hubby’s leave. So much to do in so little time..huhu!

Next week Hubby will be on leave for the whole week (nope, Saturday he has to work for the monthly release and has to be on standby on Sunday..isk!) Nevertheless Hubby will be at home the whole weekdays..yeay!

Apart from celebrating our little one 1st birthday, there will be some errands to be done. I didn’t realize that my Unit Trust agent license has expired in July and it seems that Hubby’s EPF investment is not linked to me..no wonder I didn’t see any commission amount in the monthly statement..rupanya lesen dah mati..huhu!

So we have to go to Bangsar branch next week to settle the matter and perhaps to top up Hubby’s investment. He said he can invest some more after checking his EPF statement online. Simpan dalam akaun 1 tu pon tak guna jugak since the most you can get is 5.8% dividend from EPF (as of 2007).

Oh, we also have promised SIL to bring her to the kedai bunga so that she can find floral arrangement for the bilik pengantin. I also need to find artificial flower to make bunga dulang for Niece #2 wedding. Other than that, we are still not sure what to do with our son first birthday celebration. I don’t feel like throwing a party, but I want it to be something he likes and be memorable.

I’m taking the chance here to update about children books that we managed to buy at the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale last week. The son was tired and decided to sleep early tonight. So by 1:30am I am a free mom..hah!

Among the books that I love so much is the story of Little Wombat. It is a story about being happy with what you already have in life. I can’t wait to read and ponder upon all the pages of these colorful books with the son.

Oh, we bought the Aircraft book even though it is too advanced for a 1-year-old because we think ahead when the time comes for him to do some school work about different type of aircraft. We can scan the picture, print and let him cut and paste them in his buku latihan. Mesti cikgu kata ada extra effort, mesti dapat A and bagi bintang..haha!

I am such a kiasu mother..but who cares..keh keh!

Next year we are hoping to buy more books of his interest at BBW sale.
