Better Day, Biskut Mazola & A Movie
Thursday was a better day for me, at least I feel that way. A friend stopped by after running her business errand, brought lunch with her knowing that I hardly have anything to eat for lunch..haha! I reheated the Raya leftover dishes for her, we chatted and then Hubby came home with fever and cold, must be the burden of working too hard these past few weeks.
I decided to make biskut mazola for hubby, thought of buying the ready made in Jusco, but amusingly most of the kuih raya were no longer available. Maybe people bought them for their coming open house, I don’t know..huhu..oh, I never know that the corn oil is so expensive, a bottle of 1.1litre is priced at RM15++. Since I was already in Jusco I bought groceries and KFC for dinner.
After watching the usual Lock and Load series on StarWorld, I managed to make about a jar of biskut mazola and Hubby said it tastes good when he sampled the first batch hot from the oven..heh! It was really tedious to finish up all the dough into the size of a marble, and I only used like 200g of flour. No wonder they sell the ready made cookies so expensive these days, must be the extra charge for their workmanship..haha!
Oh, I got 2 students confirming that they are coming for this Sunday class. Just nice for the color of the dip solution I still have and the amount of thinner available. Most of the old dip solutions were already hardened. Some are still usable but I will need a lot more thinner to dilute them. Oh, I watched Friends With Money after baking those cookies. It was a good movie for my standard, the usual drama of life but not too heavy.
Well, I guess I’m off to bed as I need to practise sleeping in a bit early as I will have morning classes this weekend. See you guys later and Happy Friday!
