For those interested to attend craft class such as decoupage, bunga stokin and bunga dip, I will be conducting those classes after this Hari Raya.

Since there is no fixed schedule for such classes, please leave your details and email through the comment column if you are interested to attend any of the mentioned classes. I will contact you back with more details for the classes that you are interested to join and we can arrange the time and date for your session. For those not working, you are welcomed to join the class during weekdays. I usually limit the participants to 4-5 persons per session.

Usually each class will last about 3 hours and for weekend I only conduct the class in the morning.

I hope those who have contacted me earlier regarding the craft classes in previous months will grab this chance as I will only conduct these classes till end of November 2008. Otherwise you have to wait until next year, most probably after April when I will resume the business again.

What, Where, When…

This entry is supposedly to be completed yesterday but since I was busy copying picture folders from another PC into this notebook, I decided to postpone it to today.

Today we will going for berbuka puasa with a friend in his new home. I am not cooking anything elaborate since the menu is already beryani gam, murtabak and air tebu. I just made some agar-agar merah for additional dessert for the Iftar. After all there will only be 5 of us, (I guess) since another friend’s wife is away in the US for work. Not sure whether the host has invited other bunch of friends because he usually will not since he kind of prefer an intimate gathering with different gang of friends..heh!

So that solves the problem of what to have for berbuka, where and when we should go out..Oh, yesterday we tried Pasar Ramadhan in Putrajaya and surprisingly the price of the food sold there was more expensive than what we usually pay here.

On average in most stalls, one piece of kuih is sold at 50sen (although there is still certain kuih with 40sen price) compared to 40sen in the pasar ramadhan nearby our house..huhu! And the choices this year were slim compared to last year. I guess we won’t be going to Putrajaya Pasar Ramadhan again after this..I bought vadai and they taste very bland, even Hubby couldn’t finish them for supper..so no choice but to blend my own dhall and make my own vadai soon.

After all I have bought Philips food processor using Jusco vouchers and additional 100++ cash, now I can blend all the rempah easily..hehe! No more multiple round of blending with that small dry mill (which has gone kaput over the last few months)..heh! Very tempted to cook rendang this Raya but not sure whether my strength will be up for it. These days I find it very easy to feel tired and difficult to move and breathe.

Get to go now, I’m off to keep the agar-agar in the fridge. Hopefully it will hardened by 5pm..heh!

Mission Half Accomplished

Since my kitchen sink was still full with dirty pot and pans yesterday, we decided that we might as well go out and berbuka outside. The initial plan was to go to Putrajaya pasar ramadhan and see what they have there. But then around 4 something it started to rain and I definitely wouldn’t want to brave the crowd in the heavy rain.

So searching around I felt like trying Ramadhan buffet at Eden Subang Parade. The price is RM45++ per pax and since I wanted to buy baju raya for me I thought it will be good idea to go to Subang Parade. Usually they have a lot of stalls selling baju raya.

Overall the food was OK and there were not so many people in the restaurant. After that we went around Subang Parade trying to find attire like jubah seluar or jubah labuh but it seems that every stalls sell normal baju kurung and baju kebaya.

This morning the Amway dealer called informing that the postnatal set is available but the bengkung is not. So I told her to come later once the whole set is available. Good for me since I can continue sleeping till 1pm..heh!

I went to Maybank again in the afternoon to deposit the syiling and change duit raya. One mission accomplished since the heavy bag of small change worth of RM167++ is now floating in my account. But I was told that I can only change duit raya tomorrow..alah buang karan lagi la…huhu!

Went to Jusco to buy groceries. I even bought lala with the intention to cook and makan puas-puas but once I reached home and cleaned the chicken, terus hilang semangat. I feel really tired, must be with all the standing up at the bank counter, groceries shopping and the afternoon heat.

Told Hubby I won’t be cooking and we went to buy food. Now I just came back from Pasar Ramadhan and it is raining. Alhamdulillah sejuk sikit malam ni :)

On Weekend Break..

OK, the trainee journalist and the magazine photographer did come on time on Friday..surprisingly as most people don’t usually keep their promise on time. I have prepared a few more new bunga telur the day and night before so I was pretty sure they will have ample choice for the wedding issue (oh, you can buy it – magazine Wanita November edition, will come out middle October)

As the photographer was not fully informed by the trainee, he didn’t bring any of the mini studio equipment, (I was hoping to see a light box or a light tent) so in the end he has to use what I have instead, my DIY product photography studio which consists of a piece of black velvet cloth and a few boxes..heh..

Around 12pm they went back and I decided to take a nap. But then I was thinking maybe I should go to deposit the syiling and change duit raya at the nearby Maybank. So off I went to Maybank..aisey the officer in charge of counting small change was out for lunch and the bank only allows to tukar duit raya next Monday..huhu! So my plan to settle the money matters has to be done next Monday.

Anyway, on Thursday evening we went for break fasting with Hubby’s colleagues in Kelab Komuniti Cyberjaya coffee house. The food was OK considering the buffet price. I will update more in CintaRasa.com later..

Today Hubby has to be in the office from 3pm till the release is completed. So I cooked some simple dishes, bought some kuih muih at Pasar Ramadhan and brought everything to the office to berbuka with another few Malays in charged. Boleh la buat2 berbuka puasa beramai-ramai kan..

So here I am, doing nothing after the break fasting watching Majalah 3..(I have a lot of dirty pots and pans in the kitchen sink, but that can wait tomorrow..heh!) Now, what should I do while waiting to go and fetch Hubby from his office..huhu!

Bunga Telur For Magazine Shooting

I received a phone call from a journalist from majalah Wanita asking whether I will be OK with photo shooting. No, they are not going to shoot story about me, they just need to take around 10 pictures of my bunga telur creations for their upcoming isu perkahwinan.

So since I have not done any latest design of bunga telur, I decided to do some last night. Just in case whatever in the collection is too berabuk (like Hubby said) or not up to their standard. After all I owe it to the magazine buyers to see what else Bungatelur.com could come out with rather than what I already uploaded on my website.

My friend from Bibah Songket insisted that I made a few bunga telur from her songket leftovers..ye la ye la nanti aku buat…hehe..but if I do the same design nanti look like the one we sent for Ratu Sehari magazine photo shoot pulak..adeih…I am trying to utilize whatever materials I have in possession now and with all this new bunga telur making, I have to mess up my living hall again..huhu!

Those magazine people are coming this Friday morning and now I think I really want the Indian grass cutter to come knocking at my gate..all the lalang in the lawn are as tall as the gate..time nak potong rumput ni tak de la pulak sapa2 lalu..time tak nak tu ada je yg dok ketuk2..

Will update more once the magazine photo shooting is done! Till then, I have to get back to all the messy stuffs..huh!
