Website For Your Home Based Biz?

These days more and more of my female friends are interested with the idea of setting up home based business and would like to have Internet presence. The idea of having their own business website makes the topic of finding which web hosting services become our popular conversation.

Since not all of those friends are technical savvy, I suggest that they get more in depth by reading articles like Tips For Choosing A Domain, Linux Hosting: The Perfect Solution For Your Small Business and What You Need With Cheap Hosting.

Of course there is no ultimate solution for their search for the best web hosting company, as in the end, it comes down to their needs, usage and preferences and not to forget their budget, but at least they will have the basic ideas on what to look for before they invest more time, energy and resources into the new venture of home based business.

The Not Busy Weekend

This is the first weekend that I am not busy or have any plan to go out, reason being Hubby has to be on stand by for the company’s release for both Saturday and Sunday..huhu…

But I think I won’t mind because I have no particular thing to buy or look for. I have enough books and magazines to keep me occupied these two days, even few more haven’t seen DVD..heh!

Oh, I watched The Other Boleyn Girl last night, and then Indiana Jones and 27 Dresses..thanks to the cikai Philips DVD player, we managed to watch all those pirated DVDs..my LG player refused to play those DVDs..sekarang sudah turun taraf, put it with the TV in the living hall..heh!

Anyway, I still have to clean the leftover of my previous bunga telur project..adeihhh..malasnya..I rather cook the whole pot of rendang ayam than to clean up the mess, vacuum the carpet, mop the floor etc..maybe I should call the parttimemaid website and check whether they have service to my area..

Planning Your Next Vacation?

While browsing for nothing in particular the other night, I found this good website that offers online travel guides to places like Boston, Las Vegas, Orlando, Los Angeles and many more.

It reminds me of the time Hubby went to Boston but didn’t go on the Boston tours his friends were recommending about. Being alone on a trip is certainly no fun so he ended up just going on a trip to MIT and Chinatown, having a bowl of laksa at one of the Malaysian restaurants there..huhu..pity Hubby! I guess if I was with him, we will surely take that Old Town Trolley tour.

Nevertheless Hubby said he had good time there, not to mention the experience of knocking a cup of hot coffee on the woman who sat beside him on the flight from Boston to Los Angeles. Blame that on his lack of sleep and jetlag..I hope the lady won’t find the whole journey very annoying. Oh, no major damage done there, anyway!

I can only hope next year or next, next year we will have the chance to go to Boston for Hubby’s technical training and short vacation. With a child around, I’m sure the experience will be fascinating to remember.

If you are somehow happen to be in Orlando, perhaps you can consider visiting this Cypress Gardens Florida. For gardening enthusiast, being in one of the most famous gardens in the world would certainly add the perk to your day :) And for your kids, there are 40 rides for children of all ages including 5 coasters and the world’s tallest spinning rapids ride. I’m sure Hubby wouldn’t agree to the thrilling riding ideas though..huhu!

Rainy, Lazy Day..

I woke up to the stinking smell of kepala udang..huhu..went to Jusco to get more groceries last night, and surprisingly harga barang mentah damn expensive..huhu..bought 2 ketam at RM15++, half a kg of sotong for RM11++, 2 slices of tenggiri at RM9++ …huhu..patut la SIL said harga semua dah naik..I never notice that until last night when the budak Jusco timbang ketam tu said, RM15 ni kak..tak pe ke? Dah nak mkn kan, takkan nak ckp tak nak la..huhu..gratefully we have the money to afford such food, bayangkan those with small income and big family to feed..how do they survive with the current economic situation..kesian kan…

Anyway, last night I find it difficult to fall asleep..2 times went to bathroom to pee..I finally dozed off around 4am and woke up at 2:15pm..it was raining outside that’s why feel like sleeping some more..best kan tak payah keje, tak payah nak kena bgn pagi2 mcm org lain..heheh!

I am still feeling very lazy to buang the sampah..malas nak bukak pagar, but I think somehow I have to..semua lalat langau ni dah terbang keliling aku dah ni…need to take some serai from the lawn as well..serai beli kat Jusco tu mcm tak cukup je..today nak cook rendang ayam..heh!

Dunstan Baby Language, Puding Mango & Spaghetti..

I read about Dunstan baby language in the Motherhood magazine I bought, and feel tempted to learn more about it. Unfortunately there’s no store in Malaysia which sells the DVD. Found a good deal on ebay but it’s still 4 days before the bidding ends. If my luck is good and the bidding end price is reasonable (plus the shipping) I would be able to learn more about what the cries mean..heh!

Oh, I finally boil the instant mango pudding and now it’s cooling in the fridge. I hope it won’t smell like the tempoyak I have in the fridge..huhu! Actually I was looking for some plastic jelly mould but couldn’t find any in Jusco so I bought a cake mould in love shape. Perhaps later when my child is older I can use the tin to make a small cake for his/her 1st birthday..hehe!

Since I am still not satisfied with any spaghetti I had before (had Delifrance meatball spaghetti on Sunday), I decided to cook my own beef bolognaise today. After all I still have to return Ju’s tupperware so it seems fair..my spaghetti for her spaghetti..heh! And I am going to Jusco again tonight to get chicken, hopefully they have better looking chicken today. Went on Monday but they were out of healthy looking chicken pieces. Now what to cook with the chicken?
