A Homemaker’s Diary

I was down with sore throat and fever since yesterday (in fact I didn’t feel very well since Monday) but since Hubby is not around, terpaksa la menggagahkan diri, pretending as if tak de apa2..huhu..I went to see the doctor yesterday and she said my temperature was high..huhu!

Ate bihun sup I bought at the usual restaurant, took the medicine and fell asleep while waiting to watch Bones. Woke up at 12am since SIL called. I didn’t tell her that I was down with fever when we talked on the phone earlier. So she thought I might still be up watching TV or doing my craft work. We talked for quite some time and after that I went out to buy burger.

Took another dose of medicine and went to sleep again. I thought of waking up a little bit earlier to buy lunch but once it started to rain heavily, I thought what the heck, just continue sleeping..heh!

So here I am at 8:20pm, thinking what to have for dinner. Can’t wait for Hubby to come home, nak pegi pasar malam..huhu!

I went out to Alamanda today, with the initial plan to have noodle set at TCRS. Then I realized since the credit card due is on 1st June and it will be on Sunday, I might as well deposit the cash today. Since I have some money from craft class I don’t need to go to ATM to withdraw Hubby’s money..heh! Good choice as well since people were queuing up at ATM machine to withdraw their salary.

After the lunch cum dinner of Honey BBQ noodle, I was thinking to buy some groceries at Carrefour but looking at the crowds, tak payah la..went to Parkson and MPH but didn’t find anything interesting to buy. Even the June edition of my usual monthly magazines are not out yet.

So in the end I bought cookies at Famous Amos and jeruk timbang campur-campur..makan sampai ngilu gigi..heh..on the way home, baru teringat, I should have checked the Cold Storage branch dah open ke belum…aiseyy..nvm, next time la..

For supper I had naan and tandoori, baik mamak yang amik oder tu tolong bayarkan bill kat kaunter, and come back to give the change..tak penat kaki aku berjalan..maybe he saw I was alone waiting for the food..tomorrow I’m going to the usual car workshop to service the car..kesian my Kelisa, long overdue for service and terribly dirty with dust and whatnot..dah baper bulan tak basuh..haha!

For now Hubby is online, standby on the job in the hotel room eventhough Americans are enjoying their Memorial day off. That’s all for today, I want to continue YM with Hubby..heh!

The problem with being alone is that you have no one to share your thought with, like what’s for dinner, where to eat, what to do today etc etc..and definitely the biggest setback if you were to do anything, you have to do it all on your own, alone, like having Sushi alone, eating the lasagne while the rest at the restaurant dine with their family, friend, spouse, partner..huhu!

Never mind, that phase will pass once June arrives..looking forward for the day that Hubby will come home.

Hubby went to Premium Outlets in Wrentham Village again yesterday after work to exchange the perfume. He mistakenly bought Red Delicious for men..heh! But looks like he ended up buying more items for the baby, the mommy and the daddy..huhu!

These are some of the baby clothings he bought. Now we already have the cap, the blanket, socks and mostly the essential stuffs to take the baby home. Jusco is having sale until 15 June and I think we will buy those singlet and baju lubang-lubang here. Hubby told me that he bought each size from 3,6,9 up to 12 month so hopefully the baby will have ample time to wear each clothing.

Oh, I got socks from Nike to be worn during confinement..hehe..6 pairs for $12.

I feel like ages since the last time I updated this blog, busy yes especially with another dateline looming near. Today despite the fact that I really hesitate to go out alone, I did go to KL to get some stuffs for the bunga pahar order. Damn! Never thought that the glitters won’t be enough for the lilac lily. I managed to buy more paper napkin for the coming decoupage class and a pair of cotton shirt and Yoga pants from Miki maternity..Sogo ada sales la pulak..ok la RM50++ after the discount, after all I need a comfy pants to wear these days.

Anyway, Hubby just called to ask what kind of jeans I want from the Levi’s store in Wrentham Village. Well for something like USD29 per pair, it’s really, really cheaper than those sold here in Malaysia…of course to be safe I asked him to buy one size bigger so that I will have more time to wear the jeans with my current bulging tummy..heh! Hubby told me that he already bought few baby clothing at the mall and perhaps he will be going again as next weekend they are having Memorial Day Sale. My Hubby the shopaholic..hehehe!

Well, I need to continue my work though I feel really tired (more to malas) and would love to lie back and do nothing..meraung la pengantin kalau bunga pahar dia tak siap Rabu ni..heh!
