Just as I thought I won’t be having any class this weekend, timing proved it wrong. On Friday afternoon, 5 students confirmed to come for Saturday class and another 2 interested to be in Sunday class. So my plan to jalan-jalan poofed in the air and in return I got RM400 for the 2 days of freedom (not the whole 2 days, just the first half of the day light..hehe..exagerate je lebih).
On Saturday we still managed to go for dinner (after sending off a friend at ERL for his Helsinki trip), I was craving for som tam and the only decent place to have it is in Johnny’s. I noticed their portion of food is getting smaller but who cares since I’m not a big eater either, frequent, yes but in very minimal amount. Oh, Alamanda now has GSC but since we were rushing last night (I still need to prepare the kit for Sunday class) we didn’t have the chance to check out the cinema.
On Sunday, Hubby went to discuss about the new IT project which hopefully if he gets could pay for my ticket to US. There is a possibility of Hubby going for training in US soon so if we can get extra money, I might be going with him. Well, that story asides, my students came for bunga stokin class and the last one went back around 2:30pm after discussing about bunga pahar she would like to order from me. If there is one thing I like the most of my job as craft instructor, it would be the opportunity to get to know all kind of people, chatting and learning more about their life, their job, their view on life.
Once she left, I watered the plants and by then I realized that I was starving but Hubby was still in KL. So since I have nothing edible in the fridge and the fact that I am usually on cooking strike on weekend, I decided to order food from Pizza Hut. Thai tuna roll, meatball spaghetti, a can of Pepsi, soup of the day and garlic bread costs me RM28.04. Having the freedom of a homemaker - priceless..heh!
Hubby is back at the moment and we plan to watch Heroes he downloaded. It might sounds like a boring weekend, but at my age, at the edge of 30 I just don’t have the curiosity and excitement of a teenager anymore. The thought of window shopping, walking around aimlessly at the mall just drain my energy. Perhaps it’s about time that we consider having a child to play with..haha!

I know this picture of calla lily in yellow tone is long overdue, in fact the client who happened to be my junior from high school got married early this March.

I was supposed to go to sleep after reading Danielle Steel The House (managed to read a few chapters), ate a bowl of Maggi Asam Laksa and watched Jamie At Home on Astro when I realized that I feel really, really bored today. Hubby promised that we can go out this weekend but somehow the emptiness of my life is creeping wild into my head, like I want to shout..bosannnyerrrrrr..aaarrgghhh..
I have a lot to be completed and yet I don’t have the mood to do all that. What is wrong with me? huhu..

I think I’m getting back the sense of direction after days of doing nothing…heh! Well, this is what I plan to do (especially with Hubby on leave for 11 days).
Things I want to do:
1. Go to The Gardens and see the new art shop called Art Friend
2. Pay my friend a visit at her songket booth in Pameran Kraf Kebangsaan in Jalan Conlay
3. Attend the quickies classes for glass painting and porcelain painting in Craft Haven (hopefully I can squeeze the 2 hour straight class during one visit)
4. Buy materials for bunga telur
5. Go to IKEA to browse for new sofa to replace the old one (the 5 year old 2 seater where my students usually sit and pose for pictures now almost ranap)
6. Buy mugs for decoupage class (I only have 4 mugs left)
7. Go to Fah Lean/Woon Hua to look for artificial flowers
8. Buy more nylon brushes for decoupage class to replace the jahanam one..huhu..(my students seal the brushes bristles as well when they seal the napkin on the mug)
Things I have to do by this week:
1. Complete the bunga dulang sample for a May client
2. Do bunga telur sample in lilac and olive green
3. Prepare the kits for classes on weekend
4. List down items to buy at Jln TAR
I think I have to shelve aside my plan for the second Singapore trip. That beef steak kuah could wait for another time..It seems that I’m back to busy schedule..huhu! Work first then vacation later, OK!

I have some crazy ideas..(or actually Hubby has the thought first). Blame this on the latest entry on Singapore Beef Steak Kuah on my cooking and food blog…huhu! Now both of us are craving for that bright red dish..and somehow since Hubby will be in between job from 3rd April till 13th April (before he starts at the previous-now-new company) and my birthday falls somewhere among that date, we thought of going to Singapore again to splurge on the Singaporean food.

Now, should I take the bus straight to Singapore from KL or take bus to JB and hop on the free Singapore Tourism Board bus into Singapore in the morning? I prefer flight even though Air Asia is not so comfy, but to spend RM500++ for tickets would be unwise. Maybe we should drive to JB, park the car at the hotel and take the bus into Singapore. After all the cheapest (but decent) hotel in Singapore would be around RM160++ per night which is around the same rate for hotel in JB.
I still have to think through about this. After all my niece already booked me on the 6th April for her wedding shopping and I have promised a friend to complete 10 sets of mini corsages to be collected on the 5th. So I conclude that the beef steak celebration could only be done after the 7th…come to think of it again, 5 hours or more of land journey..that’s tiring!

I’ve heard about this movie since last year but since I am not a big fan of Hugh Grant (though I like Drew Barrymore’s acting) I didn’t watch it on big screen. Since HBO screened the movie on Sunday I decided to give it a chance. I think it’s a very light movie about love. If you just want to watch something with good songs, hip dance and sweet lines, this is the movie that you should watch.
