Al Rajhi or Public Bank?

I woke up with an off start, first I received voicemail from CIMB. Must be regarding the car loan. Hubby must be too busy last week and forget to set the auto debit for this month car payment..huhu..tried to call Hubby but my HP iPaq bengong again..this time it hang to the extend I can’t put an end to the call. Luckily I remembered not to curse at the phone otherwise Hubby might think I’m cursing at him if he listens to his voicemail later..heh!

After struggling with the stylus and the touch screen to stop the call (with no avail), I have to take out the battery at the back. Reset the whole phone again but still have hard time connecting the call. Nak kena phone ni, nak kena tukar baru ni…haha!

Then once I on my notebook, Gmail gave me bad news. My fund transfer from PayPal to VM debit card was denied…waaaaaaa…double tension dah ni…I was planning to use that money either to do international passport next week or to spend it for my vacation at the end of this month.

Browse the Internet, so many others are having the same problem as PayPal no longer accepts Virtual Money account. There goes about RM40 in that account, will try later if I can take out at least RM20, better than giving it all to them, right! Now I have to apply for debit card either from Public Bank or Al Rajhi as these two are the one accepted to receive fund transfer from PayPal. Of course I can always use my Visa credit card but it will defeat the purpose to withdraw the money in cash (can do but I will be charged cash advance fee..huhu)

Despite the gloomy start of the day, the good thing is, they have collected my thrash outside. Since Chinese New Year, the Alam Flora truck didn’t come to our housing area to pick up the thrash. I was getting worried yesterday to see all the thrash getting rotten and smelly.

Since next Tuesday Hubby will be on leave, maybe we can go to Al Rajhi in Bandar Puteri, Puchong as there are people who apply their debit card there and get everything settled on the spot. If I were to apply Public Bank Visa Electron I have to wait about 2 weeks for the card to be couriered.

Well, things happen for a reason and I do hope things will get better. If I get the debit card next week and transfer the fund, I hope I will get the money just in time before my vacation plan. For the passport, there’s always Mastercard..haha!

Langit Biru

We went to a friend’s house for housewarming and their son 3rd year birthday party last night. Another friends drove by in a new, gleaming Honda. We had good time chatting and walking up and down the house despite the fact that the host was busy preparing the party..hehe..buat mcm rumah sendiri pulak, kan!

Anyway, today when I heard this song it reminds me that sometimes we thought another person is having a blissful life and start comparing our life with them, and how we sigh and complain that their life is better, happier, more happening that our life. Yet we forgot that what appears on the outside might not be what really is in the inside.

We fail to remind ourselves that we should always be thankful with what we have and in the same time we should not be discouraged to strive hard to get more, not only in terms of material wealth and possession but more meaningful life in depth.

The Electricity Is Back!

I woke up this morning because the power was out. We got the notice since last week that TNB will be doing some maintenance work on Monday so I guess I have prepared myself for the power outage..huhu..but then I still need to sleep despite the lack of air cond and fan.

Managed to sleep after I turn off my notebook which was on stand by and had a very weird dream of me taking shower. Check the dream interpretation on the Net just now and it says it has a good meaning, but still not sure whether a late morning dream could be considered as accurate omen..haha!

The electricity is back around 3:30 and here I am updating my blog. Can’t wait to settle all the bunga telur order so that I could continue my other project. I bought decoupage paper, more acrylic paint, white gesso and flow medium yesterday and now I am dying to paint the tissue holder..not until I finish all the clients’ orders..huh!

The Vacation Plan

*This post is written for DialAFlight.com*

I just can’t wait to finish this month as I have plan for vacation. I won’t reveal where I am going yet, but if you are in the UK and would like to get accommodation, travel info and even flights to Australia for example, check out their website.

My friend who just came back from 10 days vacation in Melbourne was telling me how great the experience and she is planning to go to Sydney and Perth soon. For those in the UK, the best flight fare from Heathrow to Perth is from £410 + £203 tax and you can save even more if you book the flight and hotel together. Oh, just pick up the phone and speak to their travel consultant, who will ensure that all requirements for your tailor-made vacation plan are fulfilled.

If I get the chance, I would love to enjoy the stunning blue of Sydney’s harbour and to capture the sun drenched white sails of the opera house. Of course with good bargain for accommodation like Maze Backpackers which has room for as low as £27 per room night, you would be able to stretch the budget for more adventure in the city.

Now which city in the Australia would you choose for your vacation?

The Autumn Leaves

I never know that there are so many versions of Autumn Leaves. The more modern one sung by Diana Krall, Eva Cassidy, and even Andrea Bocelli sang it in French. I prefer the one by Nat King Cole compared to Frank Sinatra because Frank sang it too slow…heh! This song reminds me of the time in TKC when the choir girls will usually sing this when there is any farewell. How I miss those happy, carefree day..how time flies and soon I will be hitting 30..huhu!
