Let’s Play Bingo!
As I told you guys earlier, I will be on break for the next two weeks. So I decided I should do something apart from reading books and shopping (online and offline) to amuse myself.
Well, I know chess is too hard for me and poker need rules in head to play so I opt to play bingo online.
Yes, you heard me right! Let’s play bingo! I know usually only older women play this game, especially those in the age range of 35-54. But hey who knows, if I start playing now, my luck could improve for the next couple of years down the road.
Anyway for those who are interested in the history, the game bingo or its similar kind started in 1530 in Italy, brought to France and later in America as carnival game. Only when a Columbia University math professor, Carl Leffler increased the number of combinations in bingo cards and later managed to invent 6,000 different bingo cards before he went crazy, the game became more interesting and even help church to raise fund. It is said that today more than $90 million dollars are spent on bingo each week in North America alone.
