A Homemaker’s Diary

I always envy houses with great lighting. Maybe it’s time that we start to change the boring light bulbs and the long fluorescent ceiling lights in the house. But to think about all the DIY process makes me shudder in laziness..haha!Let’s have a look at this range of track lighting that they have at Premier Lighting.

Maybe for a start I should try to have this 8 Light Monorail Kit for the dining area. I like my space to be bright so all the dim, yellow lights (which Hubby loves) are definitely out of plan. I don’t have a 20/20 vision so I need to stay clear of what ahead to see on my dinner plate..haha!

If given the choice, I would also love to have a chandelier in my study room someday. Of course having a bigger and more intricate designs for the chandelier will be a plus point, but for now since I can’t afford a housekeeper to clean the dust, I will be less ambitious and choose this simpler one. But still the main thing I should consider now is that who will fix all the lights for me. Maybe Hubby could lend his hand to help..haha!

I took this picture of jemput-jemput udang about a few weeks ago (or was it months? huhu!). Nevertheless it could still be a valid picture because just now I had this for supper as well.

This prawn fritters are among the easiest things to cook and yet the taste is just great to savour. Make sure you dip with chili sauce Maggi..great for tea time or supper!

Of course I don’t use my hand to jemput the flour mixture (it’s something that people call as batter, right?), I use the spoon instead so the Malay translation for my prawn fritters should be “sudu udang” instead of jemput-jemput..haha!

Never mind, ignore my nonsense..I’m just too tired of thinking the right words after writing all the sponsored posts. It’s time that I go off to bed and wake up at 2pm tomorrow..haha! Oh, come to think of it, I still have some leftover of the batter in the fridge. Maybe I will fry some for tea..nyum nyum!

If you have pets like dogs or cats, you have to be sure of their health when it comes to fleas infestation. These fleas not only annoyingly infecting your pet but sometimes will bite people as well, and their bites are itchy and painful.

So if you think that your cat is having fleas infection, it’s time that you look around for flea products. Although once you apply the medication on your cat, it will not kill all the fleas on the spot but it would help to combat the infestation to spread even worse.

However if you have a kitten, be aware that those medication could only be applied after certain age period. There are also natural remedies and prevention methods that you could take when it comes to fleas problem.

It is also more advisable to let your cat to stay indoor because outdoor cats are more prone to infection due to wandering around outside and contact with other animals.

For once I could not find a picture which will portray this entry, at least not to that sense, my kind of shopping frenzy.

When I first got the money from blogging, I’ve been telling myself that I will buy this and that and I think I’ve done my shopping mantra right..haha!

I bought the terracota pots that I want, around 5 of them which are waiting to be filled with soil and the plants..maybe I’ll do that this weekend. I bought 5 tudung bawal (now I’m planning to buy another 2 if the stock is still available), I even bought Aura Seri..haha..but yet to use it. Maybe once I use and can see the difference I will write an entry about that..haha.

I have sent 4 pairs of baju kurung to tailors (among which I bought one and half pasang while going out for facial), bought 2 BUM long sleeve t-shirt at Parkson for my daily wear this week and I have just bought a blouse online..

I think I’m done with my shopping this month…hehe. And to wrap it up I just spend USD368.68 today for scrapbooking and wood decoupage items, which is almost RM1k in value..do you think I regret spending that much money on hobby..well, in a way I am because it’s not easy to get USD400 by blogging but still when you wanna something you oughta get them no matter what, right?

For now I feel bad that my money is depleting in the account, but I do believe that only by spending and enjoying the things you bought in life, you will have a greater drive to earn some more.

I have bigger thing to pay in August so I have to work harder in July..wink!
